#18 Men's Lacrosse Cruises Past Georgian Court

Lakewood, N.J. - The #18 men's lacrosse team returned to winning ways this afternoon with a 12-4 victory at Georgian Court. Molloy is now 8-3 on the season while GCU is an even 5-5.

How it Happened
  • Molloy controlled the game for the first 45 minutes, not allowing Georgian Court to score until the final minute of the third quarter.
  • Senior Luke Hickam had three goals in the first quarter while junior Jake Taylor added one
  • Senior Noah Taylor supplied the lone goal of the second frame to make it 5-0 at the half.
  • Senior Bryan Diliberto and juniors Thomas Kofod, Brian Green, and Nick Taini all found the back of the net in the third quarter to help Molloy to a 9-2 lead headed into the final 15 minutes.
  • Hickam and junior Justin Palulis and freshman Liam Taylor rounded out Molloy's scoring.
Top Performances
  • Hickam led with four goals and one assist for five points to go with a career-high three ground balls.
  • Green (one goal, two assists), junior Tommy Corcoron (three assists), and Jake Taylor (one goal, two assists) all had three points.
  • Noah Taylor tallied a goal and an assist for two points.
  • Junior Brandon Pazienza led with five ground balls after winning seven face-offs.
  • Junior Jaden McLeod tallied four ground balls with Noah Taylor, Kofod, freshman Aiden Dinnigan, and junior Shawn McCabe each picking up three.
  • Liam Taylor topped the team with a career-high three caused turnovers while Kofod and Dinnigan each forced two.
  • Senior goalie Christian Michaels made 14 saves in net.
