Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The softball team dropped two games this afternoon against Southern New Hampshire, falling 13-3 in the first game and 11-7 in extra innings in the second. With the losses, the Lions' record falls to 6-12, while the Penmen improve to 13-7.
Game One: SNHU 13, Molloy 3
How it Happened
- Southern New Hampshire jumped out to an early lead, scoring four runs in the first inning and adding another in the second off Jordyn Resetar's home run to left field.
- Sophomore Stevie Dabbadie entered in the circle in the top of the second and struck out two batters over the next two innings.

- The Lions responded in the bottom of the third, starting with a lead off single to the shortstop from Savage, followed by a sacrifice bunt from freshman Casey Kissenger to move her into scoring position.
- McGurk singled to left center, advanced to second on the throw, and drove in Savage to put the Lions on the board.
- Montgomery followed with a single to left field before stealing second.
- Moussa delivered an RBI single, and senior Cheralyn Dusharme added a sacrifice fly to trim the deficit to 4-3.
- Dabbadie then launched a home run to right center, giving the Lions a 5-4 lead heading into the fourth inning.
- Southern New Hampshire regained the lead in the top of the fifth, scoring twice on a pair of singles and a sacrifice bunt to make it 6-5. They added another run in the seventh with an RBI double.
