Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The men's basketball team fell to the Wildcats of Daemen University this evening from Bob Houlihan Court, 95-50. The Wildcats remain undefeated at 13-0 on the season and 5-0 in East Coast Conference play. The loss drops Molloy to 4-10 (0-3 ECC).

How it Happened

• Daemen opened the contest on a 10-0 run. 
• Foul shots from freshman Dylan Kopp and a layup from graduate student Matt Lane would bring the Lions within eight, 12-4.
• That would be as close as the home team would come in the first half, shooting 6-of-34 from the field. 
• Daemen maintained a nearly 40-point advantage through the second half en route to the victory.

Top Performances

• Sophomore Bryce Merchant topped the Lions with 20 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.
• Redshirt junior Seydina Mohamend Dieng also pulled down 10 boards and added a block.
• Freshman Rob Matos netted nine points, going 7-of-7 from the foul line, while dishing out three assists.
• Senior Mick Browne led with two steals.
