Frostburg, Md.- The field hockey team fell to Frostburg State, 7-0, this afternoon at Bobcat stadium. The Lions now hold a 1-1 record, and the Bobcats improve to 1-1.

How it Happened
- Frostburg struck first, netting two goals in the opening seven minutes of play.
- Mikyla Rineer and Lina Goetz doubled the home team's advantage, making it 4-0 in the second frame.
- The Lions defense denied Paige Leitzel's first shot in the 27th  minute and sophomore goalie Kayla Lipscomb saved her second attempt ten seconds later to keep them off the board going into the final 30 minutes.
- The Bobcats added two more goals in the third quarter.
- Molloy successfully defended against three consecutive penalty corners to close out the start of the second half.
- Pagie Leitzel extended the Bobcats lead, 7-0, early in the fourth quarter.
- Freshman goalie Kayla Balsamo denied Taylor Korczynski on a penalty stroke in the final five minutes of the contest.

- Lipscomb made a career high eight saves.
