Lincoln University, PA – The 16
th ranked Molloy baseball team wrapped up its series with the Lions of Lincoln University with a pair of victories (21-6 and 18-3) Sunday afternoon. Molloy improves to 22-8 overall and 8-3 in East Coast Conference play, while Lincoln moves to 7-21overall and 1-11 in league play.
 
Game One: Molloy 21, Lincoln 6
	- A pair of home runs kicked off the Molloy first inning to a 4-0 lead. Senior Matt Yip connected with a three-run homer and junior Nicholas Dagnello blasted a solo shot.
 
	- Two runs came home in the top of the third for the cardinal and white following a sacrifice fly from Dagnello and a RBI single from junior Patrick Sanchez to increase the lead, 6-0.
 
	- The home team got a run back in the bottom of the frame to cut the deficit to five, 6-1.
 
	- A three-run top of the fourth for Molloy was answered with a run in the bottom of the fourth for Lincoln, bringing the contest with the road team in front, 9-2, after four innings of action.
 
	- The cardinal and white saw eight runs cross the plate in the sixth inning and tacked on four more in the ninth and would go on to win the contest, 21-6.
 
	- Junior JC Kiss picked up the victory pitching five innings allowing two runs, on six hits, and struck out five to improve to 5-1 on the campaign.
 
	- Dagnello and Yip paced the offense with three RBIs and a home run each, with Yip collecting his ninth of the season and Dagnello his fourth.
 
	- Senior Gavin McAlonie totaled three hits and scored four runs while driving in one.
 
Game Two: Molloy 18, Lincoln 3
	- Molloy kicked the top of the first with a five-run inning, beginning with a lead off solo home run from junior JJ DeVito and freshman Joe Burriesci knocked home a pair of runs with a single to cap the inning.
 
	- Two run scoring singles, two scoring wild pitches, a sacrifice fly, and aggressiveness on the basepath paced the road team to a six-run top of the second giving them a commanding, 11-0, advantage.
 
	- The home team answered with three runs in the bottom of the second to cut the deficit to single digits, 11-3, after two full innings of action.
 
	- The cardinal and white went on to score seven unanswered runs and closed out the victory, 18-3.
 
	- Graduate student Matthew Fried improved to 4-1 on the season tossing five innings allowing three runs, one earned, four hits, and struck out seven.
 
	- Redshirt sophomore Sean Mileti pitched the final two frames of no-hit baseball and punched out five.
 
	- Burriesci led the team with three RBI.
 
	- Senior Anthony Manisero and sophomore Sean Welsh drove in two runs each.
 
	- DeVito connected with his fourth home run of the season.
