Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The volleyball team was downed in three sets by the Redhawks of Roberts Wesleyan University. Molloy sits at an even 12-12 on the season and 3-7 in East Coast Conference play while RWU improves to 12-10 (3-6 ECC).

How it Happened
- The teams competed in an evenly-matched first set, finding the score knotted five times, including as late as 20-20.
- The Redhawks put together six of the final seven points for the set victory.
- The visitors took a 4-0 lead to start the second set and would commit just three errors en route to the set victory.
- Molloy opened the third set on an 8-2 run that included service aces from junior Aria Miller and freshman Isabella Rios, blocks from junior Sara Hieber, senior Rebecca Meier, junior Teresa Moulder, and graduate student Kiarra Roth. Meier, Hieber, and Roth each added kills as well.
- RWU would work back to an even 13-13 score before going on a 10-7 run to lead, 23-20.
- Kills from Rios and sophomore Erin Stanley paired with a block from both Rios and Hiebert tied the match again before Roberts scored the final two points to take the victory.
Top Performances
- Roth led with 14 kills and added three digs and two blocks.
- Rios followed with seven kills to go with three digs, a block and an ace.
- Senior Julia Zalta tallied 23 assists and led the team with seven digs.
- Miller and sophomore Hope Carolan each led with two aces.
- Moulder led with three blocks.
