Mansfield, Pa. - The sprint football team competed in the penultimate game of the inaugural season, falling 64-21 to Mansfield this afternoon from Karl Van Norman Field. The Lions scored a program-record three touchdowns, including the program's first-ever rushing touchdown, in the effort. Molloy enters the final week of the season at 0-6 while Mansfield now sits at 2-5.
How it Happened
- The Mounties returned the opening kick-off for a touchdown, going in front 7-0 just 13 seconds into the contest.
- A 36-yard kick return from freshman Chaz Kitsakos started off a six-minute, 10 play scoring drive for the cardinal and white.
- Facing a third and long, freshman Anthony DiSalvo ran for 21 yards to keep the drive alive.
- A pass to senior Ryan Tropp and rushes from junior quarterback Paulie Drummond V set up a second and goal for DiSalvo, who ran the one-yard for the touchdown. A successful kick from freshman Timmy Stosko tied the contest midway through the opening quarter.
- Mansfield responded with a touchdown on the next possession and ended the quarter with a 14-7 advantage.
- The second quarter began with the Mounties facing a third and 20 at the Mansfield 20 yard line. Freshman Mark Kiss intercepted Cahsid Raymond's pass and took it to the house for six points. Stosko converted his second extra point of the afternoon to knot the score at 14.
- The home team would score on a 20-yard pass on a fourth and 12 in the next possession to regain the lead.
- Drummond would connect with freshman Peter von Schoenermarck for a 34-yard touchdown before Stosko's extra point tied the contest for a third time.
- Mansfield would score two times before the horn sounded to signal the end of the first half with the home team in front, 35-21.
- The Mounties would put up 29 points in the second half to win, 64-21.

- Drummond went 10-for-16 for 91 yards and a touchdown.
- DiSalvo ran for 43 yards, including the touchdown.
- von Schoenermarck led with 70 receiving yards and a touchdown.
- DiSalvo as well as freshmen Marquis Dixon and D'Angelo Cabrera recorded six tackles, with Cabrera and DiSalvo each having four solo stops.
- Freshmen Matt McCall, JoJo Spano, and Chris Crocitto each had five.
- Kitsakos had 84 return yards on the afternoon.
