Seaford, N.Y.- The field hockey team secured its first NE10 victory since 2019 with a 2-0 shutout against Franklin Pierce this afternoon at Cedar Creek Park. The win improves the Lions' record to 2-8 overall and 1-5 in NE10 play, while the Ravens drop to 1-10, 1-5 in the conference.

- Junior Gianna Mastrocco broke the stalemate in the 19th minute, netting her first goal of the season and giving Molloy a 1-0 lead.
- Freshman goalie Kayla Balsamo made three saves in the second quarter to preserve the lead heading into halftime.
- Molloy doubled its lead when sophomore Catherine Amini tapped in a cross from senior Devin Harkins following a corner in the fourth frame.
- The Ravens applied pressure late in the fourth quarter with two corners, but Balsamo denied both shots she faced, securing her first career shutout.
