• American International's Maddie Darling capitalized on a pass from Morgan Martellio to give the home team an early lead in the first quarter.
• Junior Gianna Mastrocco tied the game for the Lions four minutes into the second quarter, sending the teams into halftime with a 1-1 score.
• Mia Wood restored the Yellow Jackets' lead in the third quarter, scoring off another assist from Martellio.
