Rochester, N.Y. - For the first time since 2021, the Molloy women's soccer team will have a share of the East Coast Conference Regular Season Title following a 3-1 victory over Roberts Wesleyan University this afternoon from Redhawks Field. The Lions improved to 8-4-2 on the season and a clean 6-0 in league play while Roberts Wesleyan fell to 5-8-1 (3-4 ECC).
How it Happened
- Sophomore Elyse Munoz made two saves in the 26th minute of play to keep the contest scoreless.
- With just five minutes left to play in the first half, sophomore Isabella Muro fed a pass to junior Olivia Ingenito. The forwarded dribbled the ball into the box and sent it high past the Redhawks' keeper and into the back of the net to break the stalemate.
- In the 49th minute, senior Alessandra Borsellino sent a free kick in from nearly the out of bounds line for sophomore Madison Keenan to head into the net and double Molloy's lead.
- The home team got on the board in the 76th minute on a goal from Mackenzie Hagen.
- Muro tacked on a goal of her own in the final 30 seconds.

- Ingenito led with five shots on the afternoon.
- Muro, who finished with a goal and an assist, had three shots, all of which were on target.
- Keenan tallied two shots on net while Borsellino had one.
- Munoz made three saves in net.
