West Hempstead, N.Y. - The women's tennis team opened the home portion of the 2023 schedule by welcoming the Eagles of Post University to Sportime Hempstead Lake. Molloy fell, 7-0, to the now 5-1 Eagles and sit at 0-3 on the season.

Elena Baughman Saunders pulled out a highly competitive 7-6 victory. Senior

Alice Fartushynska could not edge out a win in second doubles, falling 6-3, allowing the first point of the match to go in favor of Post University.
Goyvaerts' gritty afternoon continued into singles play. After falling in the first set 6-0 against Nina Langenfeld, the second set went in favor of the junior, 7-6, to force a 10-point tiebreaker. Goyvaerts came close, but ultimately fell 10-8.
Caballero Abreu responded to a 6-1 loss in her first set against Micaela Rosignulolo but it was not enough, dropping the second set, 6-4. Baughman Saunders was defeated 6-3 in both sets by Oceane Mallevre. Junior
