Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The men's lacrosse team fell to the Greyhounds of Assumption University, 14-6, from the Rockville Centre Sports Complex. Molloy fell to 8-7 on the season in the loss.

How it Happened

• The teams exchanged goals in the opening two minutes of play, with senior Sean Plasencia netting the tally for the Lions.
• The Greyhounds scored the next two before juniors Mikey Rodin and Adam Hyman found the back of the net to tie the contest, 3-3, following 15 minutes of play.
• Plasencia and Rodin each scored their second goals of the game, but the contest remained tied, 5-5, at the half.
• Assumption would score the next eight goals, taking a 13-5 lead.
• Plasencia netted his third in the final five minutes to round out Molloy's scoring.

• Plasencia led with three points on three goals.
• Rodin had two goals for two points while junior Chris Delaney dished out two assists.
