Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The men's basketball season came to an end on the floor of Quealy Gymnasium this evening with the third-seeded Lions falling to the sixth-seeded Redhawks of Roberts Wesleyan University, 71-59. The Lions end the season with a record of 11-18 while RWU improve to 10-15.
How it Happened
- The Redhawks opened the contest with a 20-4 run and would lead by double digits the entirety of the opening half, taking a 38-21 lead into the locker room.
- Molloy responded by opening the second half with eight-straight points, including back-to-back three-pointers from sophomore Kenny Lazo.
- A three-pointer from freshman Jake Lynch, a layup from sophomore Darren Fergus and jumper from Lazo brought Molloy within single digits, 49-44, with 11 minutes left to play.
- That would be as close as th Lions would be able to close the gap, however, as the strong shooting from the Redhawks (43.9 percent) was too much to overcome.

- Redshirt junior Kendell Ogilvie had 13 points and six rebounds to go with two steals.
