Seaford, N.Y.- The field hockey team fell 4-2 to #6 Saint Anselm College this afternoon at Cedar Creek Park. The Lions dropped to 0-14 (0-12 NE10), while the Hawks improved to 13-3 (9-2 NE10).

How it Happened
- The Lions came out with a strong start, firing off five shots in the first two minutes of the game.
- The Hawks' Maddie Davis netted the opening goal in the 11th minute.
- Amanda Lewandowski of Saint Anselm extended thei lead to 2-0 in the second quarter.
- Junior Aly Anderson scored her first career goal for the Lions, assisted by sophomore Gianna Mastrocco, before the end of the first half.
- The navy and white added another goal early in the third frame.
- Freshman Olivia Specht notched her first collegiate goal early in the fourth quarter, reducing the deficit to one.
- The Hawks rounded out the scoring 4-2 in the 50th minute of play.
