West Hempstead, N.Y. - The women's tennis team closed the home portion of its 2023 schedule this afternoon in a 7-0 loss to Adelphi University from Sportime Hempstead Lake.

The closest of Molloy's matches came at the first doubles team of senior Noor Goyvaerts and freshman Alice Fartushynska, 6-3, and second doubles team of senior Camilla Caballero Abreu and junior Maggie Kutner, 6-2.

In singles, Caballero Abreu fought against Sanne Selmer Gilje but was defeated 6-3, 7-5. 

The Lions will have a non-conference match against Dominican on Wednesday (Oct. 18) at 3:00 p.m. from Orangeburg, N.Y.
