Manchester, N.H.- The field hockey team was downed 9-0 this afternoon by the Southern New Hampshire Penmen. Molloy drops to 0-11 (0-9 NE10) and Southern New Hampshire improves to 7-6 (6-3 NE10).

How it Happened

• The Southern New Hampshire offense came out strong, netting three goals in the opening frame.
• Sophomore Lizzy Hedgecock made a defensive save and the Lions' defense blocked three shots to keep the deficit at three to end the first quarter.
• Annemartine Christis extended the home teams advantage 4-0 heading into the second half.
• Minke van de Poll of Southern N.H. tallied three goals in the third stanza bringing them to an 8-0 lead.
• The blue and gold scored in the 54th minute to round out the scoring 9-0.

Top Performances

• Junior Kelsey Price made eight saves.
• Sophomore Nikki Longhitano took one shot.
• Hedgecock made her ninth defensive save of the season.
