Seaford, N.Y. - The field hockey team dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 2 East Stroudsburg University at Cedar Creek Park this afternoon. The loss drops the Lions to 1-4 while the Warriors improve to 7-0.

How it Happened

• The Lions kept the second-ranked Warriors off the board through the first 12 minutes of play. East Stroudsburg scored two goals in the span of a few minutes to close out the first quarter.
• In the second quarter, sophomore Gianna Festa made seven saves, only giving up on goal, to set the score at 3-0 at the half.
• Sophomore Kelsey Price started the second half in net for the Lions, making 20 saves in the effort.
• Freshman Lizzie Hedgecock had a defensive save just shy of the halfway point of the third quarter.
• Sophomore Aly Anderson had Molloy's lone shot early in the fourth quarter before the Warriors rounded out the scoring with four goals.
