Middlebury, Conn. - The tennis team fell to Post University 6-1 on Tuesday afternoon. The loss drops the Lions to 0-4 on the season while the Eagles improve to 5-1. 

The tandem of sophomore Noor Goyvaerts and junior Camilla Caballero Abreu won their doubles match, 6-3, to start the afternoon. Junior Hannah Niggemeier and freshman Jill Cafaro dropped a close 7-5 contest at second doubles, giving Post the doubles point.

Caballero Abreu picked up Molloy's only point of the afternoon, topping her opponent in second singles. The junior won the first set, 6-2, and then dropped the second set, 7-5, forcing a deciding set. Ultimately, Caballero Abreu would take the tie-breaker, 10-5. 

Cafaro also brought her singles match to a deciding set after winning her first singles set, 6-3, before dropping the next two.

The Lions head to Flushing, N.Y., for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association East Regional Championship on Thursday (Sept. 22).
