East Stroudsburg, Pa. – The Molloy baseball team fell to the East Stroudsburg Warriors, 17-3, Tuesday afternoon at Creekview Park. The Lions moved to 19-8, while the Warriors moved to 23-8.
How it Happened
- Molloy began the scoring with a two-run home run from sophomore Matt Yip in the top of the first inning.
- The Warriors tied the game at two in the bottom half of the frame, following a balk and an RBI ground out.
- The home team tacked on three runs in the second inning to take a, 5-2 lead.
- In the top of the fourth, sophomore Chris Einemann scored junior David Franchi on a ground out to second, Molloy trailed, 5-3, going into the bottom of the fourth inning.
- East Stroudsburg concluded the contest scoring 12 unanswered runs en route to the 17-3 victory.
