Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The Molloy men's lacrosse team fell to the Frostburg Bobcats, 14-6, Saturday afternoon at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions fell to 5-9 overall and 2-2 East Coast Conference play, and the Bobcats improved to 1-1 in conference play.

How it Happened

• The Lions netted the first three goals on tallies from graduate student Nick Del Giorno, junior Ryan Downing, and senior Brian Ford.
• Frostburg scored the next two goals, and Molloy led 3-2 at the end of the first quarter.
• The Bobcats recorded the only five goals of the second quarter to take an 8-3 advantage.
• Down 10-3, sophomore Chris Delaney found the back of the net to cut the lead to 10-4.
• The away team led 13-5 at the end of the third stanza.
• Junior Sean Plasencia added a goal for the home team in the fourth.

Top Performances

• Freshman Ryan Polehinke registered two points (one goal and one assist).
• Freshman Christian Michaels made 17 saves.
