Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The Molloy women's lacrosse team fell to the Mercy Mavericks, 18-6, Wednesday evening at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions fell to 7-7 overall and 2-2 in East Conference play, while the Mavericks improved to 8-4 overall and 3-0 in league play.

- Junior Amanda Weber put Molloy ahead, 1-0, nine seconds into the game.
- Mercy netted the next six goals and led 6-1 at the end of the first quarter.
- Freshman Alexa Amorison and Weber scored two of the first three goals of the second quarter to cut the Mavericks' lead to 7-3.

- With the score 12-3, Amorison and Weber found the back of the net.
- Mercy led 13-5 after the third stanza.
