Erie, Pa. – The Molloy men's lacrosse team fell to the Mercyhurst Lakers, 22-8, Saturday afternoon at Saxon Stadium. The Lions moved to 2-3 overall, while the Lakers improved to 2-2.

How it Happened

• Mercyhurst tallied the first three goals of the contest.
• Sophomore Chris Delaney scored to cut the lead to 3-1.
• Down 5-1, graduate student Jack Egan found the back of the net.
• The Lakers led 6-2 at the end of the first stanza.
• The home team started the second quarter on a 6-0 run.
• Junior Sean Plasencia netted a goal to make it 12-3, and Mercyhurst led 14-3 at the half.
• The Lakers outscored the Lions 8-5 in the second half.

• Egan and graduate student Nick Del Giorno tallied two goals each.
• Sophomore Mikey Rodin, senior Brian Ford, Delaney, and Plasencia scored one goal apiece.
