Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The Molloy men's lacrosse team fell to the #5 Mercy Mavericks, 17-8, Saturday afternoon at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions fell to 3-7 overall and 1-1 in ECC play, while the Mavericks improved to 6-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

- Senior Brian Ford scored to put Molloy ahead 1-0.
- After Mercy knotted the score 1-1, graduate student Nick Del Giorno tallied a goal to make it 2-1.
- The Mavericks netted three consecutive goals and led 4-2 at the end of the first stanza.
- Down 6-2, Del Giorno found the back of the net to cut the advantage to 6-3.
- The away team led 11-3 at the half.
- Mercy outscored the Lions 5-0 in the third frame and led 16-3 after 45 minutes of play.
