Winter Haven, Fl. – The Molloy softball team fell to the Kutztown Bears, 10-1, and the Florida Tech, 8-2, Tuesday afternoon at Nancy Bottge Field. The Lions fell to 3-6.

Game One: Molloy 1, Kutztown 10

• The Bears scored two runs in the first to take a 2-0 lead.
• Sophomore Katie Hand, who tallied two hits, blasted a solo home run to cut the advantage to 2-1 in the third.
• Kutztown scored four runs in the sixth and seventh innings.
• Sophomore Chrissie Huhn and junior Akemi Poyer each recorded a hit.

Game Two: Molloy 2, Florida Tech 8

• The Panthers plated four runs in first and two in the third to go ahead 6-0.
• Senior Amanda King hit a two-run home run in the fourth.
• The home team scored two more runs in the bottom of the fourth.
• Huhn, juniors Karsyn Eaton, Emma Bachman, senior Alex Burns, and graduate student Courtney Greene collected hits.
