Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The Molloy baseball team defeated the Le Moyne Dolphins, 3-0, Sunday morning at the Ripken Experience. The Lions improved to 4-3, while the Dolphins fell to 2-6.

How it Happened

• In the third, redshirt senior Thomas Brady ground out, which scored sophomore Garrett Scavelli, to make it 1-0.
• Brady recorded an RBI single in the fifth to increase the advantage to 2-0.
• Senior David Franchi hit an RBI single in the eight to put Molloy ahead 3-0. 

Top Performances

• Scavelli, graduate student Matt Overton, and Franchi collected two hits each.
• Brady drove in two runs.
• Graduate student Billy Wildeman threw six shutout innings and struck out five batters to improve to 1-1.
• Senior Christopher Wiercinski fanned two batters in two innings for his first save of the season.
