Greenville, Tenn. – The #22 Molloy baseball team was defeated by the Tusculum Pioneers, 11-3, Sunday afternoon at Pioneer Park. The Lions moved to 0-3, while the Pioneers improved to 7-3.
How it Happened
- The Lions tallied two runs in the top of the second on an RBI single from sophomore Gavin McAlonie and an RBI double from sophomore Garrett Scavelli.
- The Pioneers evened the score, 2-2, with a pair of runs in the bottom half of the frame.
- In the top of the third, sophomore Chris Einemann walked with the bases loaded to put Molloy ahead 3-2.
- The home team plated three runs in the fifth and sixth innings to go up 8-3.
- Tusculum added three runs in the eighth.

- Redshirt senior Thomas Brady recorded one hit and scored two runs.
- McAlonie tallied two hits and a run scored.
