Rochester, N.Y. – The women's basketball team extended its winning streak to eight with a 73-53 victory over the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks Saturday afternoon at the Voller Athletic Center. The Lions improved to 15-8 overall and 12-4 in ECC play, while the Redhawks fell to 13-10 overall and 10-7 in conference play. The maroon and white clinched the second-seed in the East Coast Conference Championship.

• The Lions netted the first nine points of the contest, led by four points from graduate student Safiyyah Lee.
• Roberts responded with a 9-2 rally, and the maroon and white led 13-11 at the end of the first stanza.
• The Redhawks started the second frame on a 11-2 run to take a 22-15 advantage.
• Molloy scored the next 10 points, sparked by six points from junior Janel Moore, to make it 25-22.
• The maroon and white led 30-28 at the break.
• With the score tied at 36, the Lions went on a 17-3 rally, led by five points from sophomore Trinity Hudson, and took a 53-37 advantage at the end of 30 minutes of play.
• Molloy outscored Roberts 20-16 in the fourth en route to a victory.

• Senior Gabriella Aspuru tallied a team-high 17 points.
• Lee scored 16 points, and Hudson recorded 14 points and 14 rebounds for her seventh double-double.
