Colchester, Vt. - The field hockey team dropped a 5-1 decision to Saint Micheal's College at Duffy Field this afternoon. The loss drops the Lions to 1-5 while the Purple Knights improve to 2-3.

How it Happened

• The Purple Knights were the first to strike, taking a 1-0 lead in the opening 10 minutes.
• Junior Ally Saigh kept the Saint Michael's offense off the board through the remainder of the opening half, keeping the score at 1-0.
• Freshman Gianna Mastrocco netted her third goal of the season in the third quarter to knot the score. 
• The home team, however, would score four unanswered goals to take a 5-1 win.
• Saigh made 15 saves in net.
