Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The Molloy women's basketball team fell to the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks, 65-43, Sunday afternoon at Quealy Gymnasium. The Lions moved to 7-8 overall and 4-4 in ECC play, while the Redhawks improved to 8-5 overall and 5-2 in conference play. 

How it Happened 

• The Redhawks started the game on a 9-0 rally. 
• The Lions answered with 10 consecutive points, led by eight from graduate student Maya Thomas, and had a 10-9 advantage at the end of the first frame. 
• Down 13-10, senior Gabriella Aspuru netted five straight points to make it 15-13 Molloy. 
• With the score tied at 19, the road team outscored the maroon and white 10-4 and led 29-23 at the break. 
• The Redhawks outscored Molloy 36-20 in the second half. 

Top Performances 

• Aspuru tallied a team-high 11 points.
• Thomas and junior Morgan Staab netted 10 points each.
