Bridgeport, Conn. – The #21 Molloy women's soccer team topped the Bridgeport Purple Knights, 2-0, Saturday evening at Knights Field. The Lions improved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in ECC play, while the Purple Knights fell to 3-4 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

- Sophomore Sarah Tappeto hit the crossbar in the 11th minute.
- In the 24th minute, junior Lexi Verni had her shot stopped.
- The Purple Knights outshot the Lions 8-4 in the first stanza, but the match was scoreless at the half.
