Garden City, N.Y. – The Molloy men's soccer team fell to the Adelphi Panthers, 3-1, Tuesday evening at Motamed Field. The Lions moved to 1-3-1, while the Panthers improved to 1-2-1.
How it Happened
- Graduate student Peter Meyer scored on a penalty kick in the second minute to put Molloy ahead 1-0.
- Filippo Perri found the back of the net in the 15th minute to even the score, 1-1.
- The match was tied at one at the half.
- The Lions had a look to take the lead in the 67th minute, but freshman Ollie Murch's shot was stopped.
- Joseph Thomann and Paolo Marciano scored in the 68th and 73rd minutes, respectively, to give the home team a 3-1 advantage.
