Field Hockey Downed at Southern New Hampshire

Manchester, N.H. – The field hockey team fell to the Southern New Hampshire Penmen, 7-0, this afternoon at Dr. George J. Larkin Field. The loss drops the Lions to 0-15 (0-13 NE10), while the Penmen improve to 6-11 (6-8 NE10).
 
How it Happened
  • Emily Campbell scored 2:28 into the opening stanza to put the home team ahead 1-0.
  • The Molloy defense held firm thereafter, as freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Price made eight first quarter saves.
  • The Penmen scored two goals in the second quarter extending their lead to 3-0 at the half.
  • After the break, Southern New Hampshire netted a goal in the third frame.
  • The home team concluded the game with three goals in the fourth quarter.
  • In net, Price made 16 saves.
