Lakeland, Fla. - The men's lacrosse team opened the 2020 campaign at Florida Southern, falling to the Mocs, 18-8.

How it Happened

• Molloy found the back of the net in the opening frame with senior Colin Kotarski scoring a man-up goal off a feed from senior Anthony Teresky.
• At the half, the Lions trailed, 11-1.
• Teresky added his second assist of the evening on a goal from junior Jack Egan.
• Kotarski fed senior Kevin Pastier in the final four minutes of the third frame to set the score at 12-3.
• The maroon and white's offense clicked in the final quarter, scoring five goals.
• Teresky netted two goals while Kotarski scored his second man-up marker of the contest.
• Junior Darryl Hilaire and freshman Sean Plasencia each found the back of the net with unassisted goals.

Top Performances

• Teresky led with four points on two goals and two assists while Kotarski added three on two goals and one helper. 
• Sophomore Jordan Arbouet and junior Sean Colbert topped the Lions with four ground balls with Arbouet also forcing two turnovers. 
• Hilaire added two caused turnovers.
• Sophomore James O'Grady made 16 saves in net.
