Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The men's basketball team fell to Daemen College, 92-78, in the penultimate game of the regular season this evening from Quealy Gymnasium. Molloy sits at 11-15 (7-8 East Coast Conference) headed into the final game of the regular season with the loss.

How it Happened

• After the score was tied 6-6 in the opening minutes of play, the Wildcats fired off a 13-0 run to take a 19-6 lead with 15:24 to play in the opening half.
• The Lions would respond with a 14-2 run of their own to come within one, 21-20, with just over 10 minutes on the clock.
• Daemen held Molloy to just seven points in the final eight minutes to take a 48-27 lead into the break.
• Despite putting up 51 points in the second half, the maroon and white were unable to cut the lead to closer than 14 points, falling 92-78. 

Top Performances

• Corbett topped the scoresheet with 31 points, going 11-of-22 from the field, while adding three assists.
• Sophomore Pano Pavlidis reached double digits with 10 points while adding seven rebounds.
• Junior Steven Torre also pulled down seven rebounds while adding two steals. 
• Senior Nolan Kelly also nabbed two steals while snioe Josh Dennis added three assists.

Molloy will close the regular season on Sunday (Mar. 1) against Roberts Wesleyan College at 2:00 p.m. The team will recognize the four members of its senior class in a pre-game ceremony.
