Rochester, N.Y. – The Molloy women's lacrosse team defeated the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks, 13-9, Saturday afternoon at the Roberts Turf. The Lions improved to 10-6 overall and 4-3 in ECC play. Roberts fell to 11-4 overall and 4-3 in conference play.

How it Happened

• The Redhawks netted the first goal of the game.
• The Lions tallied seven straight goals, led by two from freshman Abbie Bellport and seniors Brianna Wilson and Michaela Siegler and one goal from senior Kara Rosenberg, to take a 7-1 lead.
• Roberts Wesleyan scored three consecutive goals to cut Molloy's advantage to 7-4.
• Bellport found the back of the net to give the maroon and white an 8-4 lead at the half.
• After the home team made it 8-5, Molloy netted four straight goals, led by two from Wilson and one apiece from Siegler and junior Amanda Reyes, to increase its lead to 12-5.
• Bellport added another goal in the win.

• Wilson, who set the program's all-time goals record (199), tallied a game-high seven points (four goals and three assists).
• Bellport netted four goals.
• Siegler recorded four points (three goals and one assist).
• Senior Casie Caiazza logged three assists.
• Sophomore Kaitlyn Meyer caused three turnovers and picked up three groundballs.
• Sophomore Allie Long made 14 saves in the victory.
