Uniondale, N.Y. - The Molloy baseball team fell to the East Stroudsburg Warriors, 4-3, in 10 innings Wednesday afternoon at Mitchel Field. The Lions moved to 3-15. The Warriors improved to 15-6.

How it Happened

• The Warriors scored one run in the first and third innings to go up 2-0.
• In the fourth , junior Sean Hogan hit a sacrifice fly to center , which scored junior James Messina and cut ESU's lead to 2-1.
• Freshman Robby Keane knotted the score at two in the fifth with an RBI single to left field .
• The away team went ahead 3-2 in the sixth.
• The Lions tied the game in the eighth on an RBI double to right by Hogan.
• ESU took a 4-3 advantage in the top of the 10th.
• In the bottom of the 10th, Molloy loaded the bases with one out, but failed to even the score .

Top Performances

• Hogan tallied two hits and two RBIs.
• Messina collected one hit and scored two runs.
• Junior Jake Saltzman recorded two hits and scored one run .
• Seniors Anthony Pedraita and Lucas Burton struck out one batter in one inning of relief.

• The maroon and white opens a four-game series with Lincoln Friday, March 29. First pitch against the Lions is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Mitchel Field.
