Miami Shores, Fla. – The Molloy baseball team fell to the American International Yellow Jackets, 3-0, Wednesday afternoon in the Barry Invitational at Feinbloom Field. The Lions moved to 1-8, while the Yellow Jackets improved to 4-4.

How it Happened

• AIC plated three runs in the third to go up 3-0.
• The Lions loaded the bases in the bottom of the sixth, but failed to score a run.
• Molloy had runners on first and second and no outs in the ninth, but  the Yellow Jackets worked out of the jam.

Top Performances

• Sophomore Billy Wildeman struck out six batters in seven innings in his first collegiate start.
• Freshman Chris Peralta tallied two hits.

Looking Ahead

• The maroon and white returns home to play Concordia Saturday, March 16. The first game of the doubleheader with the Clippers is scheduled for noon.
