Philadelphia, Pa. – The Molloy women's lacrosse team topped the Jefferson Rams, 13-2, Sunday afternoon at Ravenhill Field. The Lions improved to 5-2 overall, while the Rams fell to 0-2.

How it Happened

• Molloy netted the first nine goals of the contest.
• The Lions led 9-1 at the half.
• Senior Brianna Wilson, junior Amanda Reyes, and senior Casie Caiazza scored two goals, and junior Molly Brown, and freshmen Megan Schiaffo and Abbie Bellport found the back of the net once in the first stanza.
• The maroon and white scored the first three goals of the second half, on tallies from Schiaffo, Reyes, and Wilson to increase its lead to 12-1.
• The Rams scored the next goal to cut the Lions' advantage to 12-2.
• Wilson added another goal leading Molloy to a 13-2 victory.

Top Performances

• Wilson netted a game-high four goals.
• Caiazza (two goals and two assists) and Schiaffo (two goals and two assists) tallied four points apiece.
• Reyes scored three goals, and Bellport (one goal and two assists) recorded three points.
• Senior Michaela Siegler registered three assists.
• Sophomore Kaitlyn Meyer caused three turnovers and collected four ground balls, and senior Emily Bauer picked up five ground balls.
• Sophomore Allie Long made 11 saves in the win.

Coach's Comments

• "We had a great defensive effort," head coach Tom Campolettano said. "We played our best game of the year."
