Stony Brook, N.Y. – The Molloy women's basketball team fell to the Stony Brook Seawolves, 66-49, Tuesday evening at the Island Federal Credit Union Arena. The Lions moved to 6-3, while the Seawolves improved to 7-1.

How it Happened

• Stony Brook opened the game on a 14-2 run.
• The home team led 24-10 at the end of the first frame.
• The Lions started the second stanza on a 15-2 rally,sparked by six points from junior Gabriella Aspuru and graduate student Kadijah Dickson, to cut the Seawolves' advantage to 26-25.
• Stony Brook led 31-25 at the break.
• The Seawolves netted the first 10 points of the third quarter to increase their lead to 41-25 and led 48-32 after 30 minutes of play.
• The home team led by 24, 58-34, with 7:04 on its way to a 66-49 victory.

Top Performances

• Dickson tallied a game-high 22 points, on 8-of-16 shooting, and a season-high 13 rebounds for her second double-double of the year.
• Aspuru netted 14 points and added three blocks.
