Rockville Centre, N.Y. - The volleyball team concluded regular season East Coast Conference play with a 3-0 victory over Queens College this evening from Quealy Gymnasium. Molloy went a perfect 10-0, dropping just six sets, and improved to 22-4 on the season.

How it Happened
- The Lions scored the first six points of the contest with junior Kacey Affrunti picking up two aces.
- Five kills from redshirt senior Carly Banks helped to lead the maroon and white to a decisive 25-7 victory.
- Queens took its first lead of the contest by taking the first point of the second set, but the home team quickly regained a 12-2 advantage, including three-straight aces from Smith and three kills from junior Graciela Cruz.
- The second set ended with four-straight points from the maroon and white to take a 2-0 advantage.
- After being tied 9-9 in the third set, kills from Carlin, Hagerstrom, sophomore Sarah Henry, and freshmen Chye Davis and Rachel Phillips as well as an ace from freshman Kat Verastegui gave the Lions an 18-11 lead.
- The contest was sealed with two kills and an ace from Hagerstrom.
Top Performances
- The Lions attacked at a .420 clip, including 45 kills and 11 aces.
- Hagerstrom led the team with nine kills while adding two blocks.
- Carlin, Cruz, and Banks each recorded five kills.
- Smith tallied four aces and kills to go with 35 assist and eight digs.
- Fischetti led with 12 digs and added three aces.
- 12 members of the maroon and white recorded a kill in the effort with 19 seeing action on the court.
