Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The Molloy women's basketball team defeated the Bentley Falcons, 64-52, Saturday afternoon at Quealy Gymnasium. The Lions improved to 5-2, while the Falcons fell to 4-3.

How it Happened

• Graduate student Kadijah Dickson netted four early points to put Molloy ahead 7-6.
• Bentley went on a 10-2 run to take a 16-9 lead.
• The Falcons led 19-12 after the first stanza.
• After the road team increased its lead to 22-12, the Lions netted six straight points, led by four from Dickson, to make it a 22-18 game.
• Bentley extended its advantage to 31-20 with 5:51 left in the second frame.
• The maroon and white outscored Bentley 7-2 to end the half, sparked by four points from Dickson, and trailed 33-27 at the break.
• Molloy opened the third quarter on an 8-2 rally, led by seven points from junior Gabriella Aspuru, to knot the score at 35.
• With the Falcons ahead 39-37, the Lions ended the third quarter on a 13-0 run, sparked by six points from Dickson, and led 50-39 after 30 minutes of play.
• Dickson made a jump shot to put the Lions ahead 52-39.
• Bentley answered with an 11-0 run to cut Molloy's advantage to 52-50 with 6:36 remaining.
• The home team outscored the visitors 12-2 to end the game en route to a 64-52 win.

Top Performances

• Dickson recorded her first double-double with the Lions. The graduate student tallied a season-high 29 points, on 12-of-20 shooting, and 12 rebounds.
• Aspuru registered 13 points and five rebounds.
• Junior Giolibeth Perez logged 13 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds.
