Philadelphia, Pa. – The Molloy women's basketball team fell to the Jefferson Rams, 65-35, Sunday afternoon at Sorgenti Arena. The Lions moved to 1-1, while the Rams improved to 1-1.

How it Happened

• Graduate student Kadijah Dickson and junior Gabriella Aspuru netted the first two baskets of the game to put Molloy ahead 4-0.
• The Rams went on a 12-2 run to take a 12-6 lead.
• Jefferson led 21-12 at the end of the first frame.
• The Rams opened the second frame with a three.
• The maroon and white tallied the next six points, led by a triple from graduate student Robyn Francis, to make it a 24-18 game.
• Jefferson ended the quarter on a 16-2 rally and led 40-20 at the half.
• The Rams outscored the Lions 25-15 in the second half on their way to 65-35 win.

Top Performances

• Dickson led the team with 11 points in her Molloy debut.
• Junior Giolibeth Perez netted six points.
• Aspuru and senior Kathryn Gibson tallied five points each.
