• The Owls got on the board first, scoring with 13 seconds left in the first quarter, scoring on a shot through the middle.
• Sophomore Erin Tudryn tied the contest for the maroon and white as the first half drew to an end, putting the ball in the left corner of the net.
• The home team put up two goals in the third quarter to take a 3-1 lead headed into the final 15 minutes of action.
• The Lions were unable to overcome the deficit, while SCSU added a fourth goal in the fourth quarter.
