West Chester, Pa. - The field hockey team stepped out of conference play to take on the top-ranked, undefeated Golden Rams of Westchester University of Pennsylvania, falling 9-0.

- WCU took a 2-0 lead just over eight minutes into the contest.
- The Lions registered two shots to end the quarter, but were unable to get on the board.
- West Chester added four goals in the second quarter before scoring three in the second half to take the 9-0 victory.
- Freshman Ava Quick made a career-high 23 saves in net while fellow rookie Kaylee Maier made a career-high three defensive saves.
- Maier and sophomore Kyra Dalli recorded the lone shots for the maroon and white.
