Pleasantville, N.Y. – The Molloy women's basketball team fell to the Pace Setters, 58-49, Friday afternoon at the Goldstein Fitness Center. The Lions moved to 6-8 overall. The Setters improved to 5-9.

How it Happened

• Sophomore Melody Prichard scored five of Molloy's first seven points to give the Lions an early 7-5 lead.
• Pace tallied the next five points to go ahead 10-9, and the home team led 15-12 after the first stanza.
• With the Setters ahead 18-12, the maroon and white went on a 10-1 rally, led by five points from redshirt senior Tyra Harrison, to take a 22-19 advantage.
• The contest was tied at 26 at the half.
• With the game knotted at 28, the home team used an 11-2 run to take a 39-30 lead.
• The Setters led 47-33 after 30 minutes of play.
• Junior Kathryn Gibson and Prichard hit back-to-back three-pointers to start the fourth quarter to cut Pace's lead to 47-39.
• Prichard made a foul shot to shrink the home team's advantage to 50-46 with 2:37 remaining, but that was as close as the Lions would get.

Top Performances

• Prichard netted a game-high 19 points. The sophomore has led the Lions in scoring the last three games.
• Harrison tallied seven points.
• Sophomore Marthe Guirand grabbed seven rebounds.

• The maroon and white travels to play Daemen Friday, January 11. Tip-off with the Wildcats is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
