Dana Poetzsch, led the women's soccer team to a dominant 10-1 victory over Lincoln University. Molloy improved to 3-4-1 on the season and 1-2 in East Coast Conference play in the win.
How it Happened
- Molloy led 5-0 after the first half. Poetzsch and D'Eloia each netted two while freshman Joanna Graca scored the first of the contest.
- Sophomore Jessica Mauro kicked off the scoring in the second frame, scoring in the 58th minute of action.
- The home Lions got on the board in the 61st minute, scoring off a corner kick.
- D'Eloia and Poetzsch recorded back-to-back goals in the 62nd and 67th minute, respectively, to compelte their hat tricks.
- Scoring for the maroon and white was rounded out by freshman Lexi Verni, who stole the ball in Lions' territory and beat the keeper right side in the 86th minute, and senior Dominique Capolongo, who carried the ball down the middle and through the net in the 86th minute.
Top Performances
- D'Eloia tallied a career-high seven points in the victory, adding one assist to her three goals.
- Graca and freshman Sabrina Bell each added helpers in the effort.
- Sophomore Jackie Carty made one save in 56 minutes of action; sophomore Sara Palmeri recorded two saves in 35 minutes.

"The team did well against a new conference opponent," said head coach
Steve Price. "Everyone was able to see game time and we were able to score some good goals."
