Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The Molloy men's soccer team was defeated by the Georgian Court Lions, 2-0, Wednesday evening at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions moved to 2-6 overall. Georgian Court improved to 6-1.

How it Happened

• The visitors opened the scoring in the 15^th minute on a goal from sophomore Nicholas Moran.
• Georgian Court increased its lead to 2-0 in the 30^th minute after senior Daniel Vicente found the back of the net.

Top Performances

• Junior Matt Miller and sophomore Nikola Alekisc each recorded a shot on goal for the maroon and white.
• Redshirt senior Stephen Tappeto made four saves.

Coach's Comments

• "Overall it was our best individual and collective game for 90 minutes," head coach Danny Longo said. "We still gave up two bad goals. If we continue to give up bad goals, we will continue to lose. If we clean that up, we'll be alright. It's a quick turnaround to Saturday, and we need to be prepared because it is a big one."
