Lakewood, N.J. (Apr. 5, 2018) – Fueled by goals from eight different players, the men's lacrosse team won its second straight game, defeating the Lions of Georgian Court University, 15-6. The win sets the Lions at 6-4 on the season. Senior

Kevin Pastier each netted three goals in the effort and led with six points.

Travis Cooksey scored to give the maroon and white a 3-0 lead before Georgian Court got on the board in the final minute of the opening frame.
The home Lions struck first in the second quarter to come within one, 3-2, before Scheuerer and sophomore 
Gabe Garcia gave Molloy a 5-2 lead. GCU would come back within two before goals from freshman 
Nick Del Giorno and Pastier put the visitors in front, 7-3. Georgian Court closed the first half's scoring with a goal in the final five minutes of play to set the score at 7-4 at the half.
GCU would score once in both the third and fourth quarters, but the remainder of the scoring belonged to the visiting Lions. Garcia netted two goals for Molloy with Cookey, Del Giorno, and senior 
Zach Antonette each finding the back of the net as well.
Junior 
Mike Durkin led the game with nine ground balls while junior 
Justin English added eight, going 18-of-25 on face-offs. Durkin, junior 
Jake Vollaro, freshman 
Darryl Hilaire, and senior 
Ryan Toomey each caused one turnover. The senior goalkeeper also scooped up two ground balls and made six saves.
Molloy returns to East Coast Conference action on Wednesday (Apr. 11) against No. 14 LIU Post at John A. Darcy Field. Face-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
