Brookville, N.Y. (Apr. 27, 2018) - The Molloy baseball team fell to the LIU Post Pioneers, 13-4, Friday evening at LIU Post Field. The Lions moved to 23-19 overall and 15-6 in conference play. Senior Angelo Navetta led the maroon and white with two hits and three RBIs.

LIU Post (25-14, 13-4 ECC) scored five runs in the second and third innings to take a 10-0 lead. 

Freshman Jake McCarthy tallied an RBI single in the fourth, and Navetta hit a three-run home run in the seventh to make it a 10-4 contest.

LIU Post added three runs in the eighth inning.

The Lions and the Pioneers continue their series tomorrow, Apr. 28 with a doubleheader on senior day. The first game is scheduled to begin at noon.
