Uniondale, N.Y. (Apr. 14, 2018) – The Molloy women's lacrosse team fell to the NYIT Bears, 18-2, Saturday afternoon at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions moved to 8-7 overall and 3-3 in ECC play. Senior
Jessica Markowitz tallied two goals for the maroon and white. With the two points, Markowitz broke the program's all-time points record (211).
NYIT (11-3, 4-1 ECC) tallied the first three goals of the game. Markowitz scored to cut the lead to 3-1. The Bears scored the next five goals and led 8-1 at the break.
Markowitz netted the Lions' lone goal in the second half.

Emily Bauer caused two turnovers and picked up two ground balls. Freshman
Alexandra Long made 14 saves.
Molloy returns to action Friday, Apr. 20 when it travels to play NYIT. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
